Meet Dr. Dilna, a highly skilled and dedicated veterinarian, brings over 5 years of valuable experience in the field. Hailing from Kerala, India, Dr. Dilna's roots in farming and agriculture have instilled in her a deep love for both large and small animals. Her commitment to the well-being of animals extends beyond her professional life, as she cares for a pet dog named Appu and four stray cats at her home.

She graduated from Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2017, marking the beginning of her journey in veterinary medicine. Her initial two years were spent as an emergency medicine veterinarian at the District Veterinary Centre in Kannur, Kerala. During this time, she honed her skills in various diagnostic tools, including ultrasound scanning, X-ray, haematology, clinical biochemistry, clinical parasitology, clinical pathology, and clinical microbiology. Her expertise also encompasses soft tissue surgeries and critical care management, enabling her to diagnose and treat a wide range of infectious and noninfectious diseases in pets.

This training equipped her with confidence and skills in performing soft tissue surgeries such as spaying, castration, caesarean sections, tumor removals, minor orthopedic procedures, hematomas, and minor ophthalmic interventions.

With three years of experience in multi-speciality pet clinics and animal birth control centers across India, She has successfully conducted over a thousand soft tissue surgeries, particularly focusing on spaying and castration. Her passion for animal welfare, combined with her extensive knowledge and hands-on experience, makes her an invaluable member of the Intervet team.
